Lake Bluff, a quaint village located along the western shores of Lake Michigan, is a town with a lot of character and a lot of history.
The Lake Bluff Park District offers lots to do in the area. With programs in recreation and fitness for youth and adults, and special programs and events running throughout the year, there’s always something going on.
Schools: Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 serves the needs of the community with its two primary schools and one middle school.
High school students in Lake Bluff attend Lake Forest High School in Lake Forest District 115.
Transportation: U.S. Route 41 and the Edens Expressway (I-94) run north-south to the west of the village. Travel times to the Loop, Chicago O’Hare, and Chicago Midway airports are 47, 36, and 60 minutes, respectively. Rail commuters can board the Union Pacific North line in Lake Bluff for a 65 minute trip into the Loop.
